I WISH. I actually accidentally wound up here--My childhood friend was working for her dad in Florence and convinced me and my boyfriend to go visit her for SB. This was back in the summer when I had money to burn from my restaurant gig, so we jumped at the opportunity. Come November, we get a call from Lucy that her dad wants her to move back to the states by February, but she would keep the place if we needed. I was like SHIT (since I'm totally broke and sort of definitely can't afford it) and our flight, of course, was non-refundable. So we decided to opt for a cheap hostel in Rome where we can mostly cook our own food and just walk everywhere. It definitely sucks to be burning cash I don't have, but hey, it's roma.

NOW SOME NEWS FROM BERK, please.

Berk actually waitlisted me but I got an e-mail and when I checked my status checker later it updated too. Hopefully that helps...

I don't know about Vienna but I believe a call came first. I wish acceptances on all of you guys. I'll probably ride the Berk waitlist for a while because it is one of those schools that I really adore.

UGH got a call from an unknown number... 571 (Virginia...)... I almost died because I thought at first I thought it said 501... It was a BU 1L asking me if I have questions about BU and congratulating me on my acceptance, blah blah blah. sighhh...

haha aw, a similar thing happened to me. in my case it was a GULC graduate w/ a CA area code. so sneaky! hopefully we'll both be getting a call from dean tom any minute now...
