Re: Baylor 2012 (Class of 2015)
Still under review from November 2. (This was my first application sent.) I have called and emailed. Each time I keep being told that they are still reviewing my file. I think I am just going to withdraw.

Re: Baylor 2012 (Class of 2015)
Lol! Sorry! Well when I looked at it I had forgotten they split their year up weird. So it had $7,000 of the scholarship per term or whatever, and then around $20,000 per year in the direct something loan. Then at the bottom it said COA is actually about $60,000 per year, so I should get out around $20,000 more per year in private loans. No, probably not. I'm really set on UH, but their $5000 offer is still ridiculous.sarahmargie wrote:Ouch! Are you going to do it? What about U of H?mtyler19 wrote:Lol! Sorry! You can get education loans for the full COA less any scholarships or other financial aid you received. So, if the COA is $60,000 and you got $21,000 in scholarship plus $20,500 in unsubsidized Stafford graduate Loan , then you could still get an education loan for the remaining $18,500 gap.

Yes thats what the aid packet said. I just don't think I want to get out $40,000 per year.reinbowbrite wrote:mtyler19 wrote:Lol! Sorry! When they say that they can offer you a seat in the Spring 2013 class because the Fall class is currently full that is guaranteed, correct?

Did I dream up an ASD for Baylor? I've been searching through my materials, and I can't find one.

Nevermind. It's tomorrow. Too late. There's another one on 4/13 - unfortunately, after my first deposit is due.sandlot wrote:Did I dream up an ASD for Baylor? I've been searching through my materials, and I can't find one.

Has anyone tried negotiating their scholarship? If so, who did you send the email to?

Re: Baylor 2012 (Class of 2015)
So I just spoke to Ms. Daniel and told her that I have a deposit due April 1st and I still had not heard from Baylor. She told me to send her an Email explaining my situation and she would try to get my application in front of the committee in time. Anyone else in a similar situation might want to try that. She also told me the remainder of their decisions will be rolling out April 15 or so.
