Is there a place to store/make a lunch (fridge/microwave?)ach24 wrote:
Yes, I have a locker. You can request one at the start of the year through Student Affairs. Commuting students get priority, but even people who live in the school's housing were able to get lockers without issue.
Thanks for taking the time to answer questions!

Just got a fee waiver email. I'm a splitter so not sure if it's worth it this late?

Just went 'in review'. Typically how long after you go under review do you receive a decision?

I went "in review" around 12/15 and then the status was updated (still "in review) on 1/17.CwallXC322 wrote:Just went 'in review'. Typically how long after you go under review do you receive a decision?
I have yet to receive a decision.
On LSN and through talking to a few people about it, it seems as though applicants that are very well-qualified in the ADCOM's opinion or not-so-well-qualified tend to get their decisions much faster than those that are sort of teetering on the borderline (and will most likely be wait-listed). I know this tends to be true at a lot of schools, but it seems as though Maryland varies more than most in terms of response time.
It also appears as though they release decisions in clusters.
Hopefully we'll hear soon!

Do you waitlisted folks have any plans to get yourself a seat?
Dumb question: Those entering the four year evening program are Class of 2016, right?

I plan on sending a LOCI and an updated resume. Not sure how else to stay in touch without annoying the admissions office.pret wrote:Do you waitlisted folks have any plans to get yourself a seat?

To your second question--I assume evening students will be the class of 2016.

Good plan. Let's hope the number of applicants seriously underwhelms this cycle and we all get in!ama004 wrote:I plan on sending a LOCI and an updated resume. Just changed to "in review". Should I expect a decision anytime in the foreseeable future?

Okay, also important, anyone who DIDN'T get the 'Decision made' or maybe got waitlisted also get this notice? I'm trying to see if there's a pattern or if this was just sent to everyone.

I'm going to wait for my letter before I start celebrating. But, that does look promising.TIKITEMBO wrote:FYI, just found this from 2007. Hope it's still the policy because it looks pretty much the same! Only my email has a lot more locations. http://www.law.umaryland.edu/about/news ... l?news=242

Applied FT program. MD is not my #1, although depending on money and job prospects they could be appealing.pret wrote:Did you guys apply pt or ft? Also, is Maryland your #1? I need to know if I'm competing with you or not before I can feel happy for you. Lol just kidding...kind of.
Anyone know if MD law is in a good part of Baltimore?
