Re: Fordham c/o 2015/16 (2011-2012 Cycle)
To be honest I didn't think they'd reject me, so I let them evaluate my file without waiting for my LSAT score and maybe I'd have a good shot getting in by applying in October. I was PT'ing >7 points higher than that and just had a really bad test experience so I was hoping if they did WL me I could just send them the new score and they'd reconsider me. I don't think they even know I retook the lsat actually hahacitygirl000 wrote:I didn't realize you could get a decision before your new LSAT score was out?!sums wrote:Waitlisted via status checker. 2 complete dates, 11/7 and 11/28. 166/3.55. Pretty much expected it but still sucks. At least I should have a much better Dec LSAT score soon

if i can recall, a lot of people have gotten off the waitlist who really showed interest, wrote a LOCI, etc, right? i'm sure this was previously discussed (i think i saw something in last year's thread too)

I'm an 11/9 person and I haven't seen anything. Are you supposed to update more than once before receiving a decision?

Pretty sure I only "updated" once before receiving a decision... My complete dates were 11/9, 11/15, 11/30 from what I remember, but I sent in an additional letter on 11/15 so I think that explains the second update...CPM723 wrote:I'm an 11/9 person and I haven't seen anything. gahhh... fordham please don't make me wait all break. you'll drive me crazy! I completed 12/16 but I have no idea whether it was the 1st or 2nd or 3rd complete. I'd really just like to get into at least one law school before the break so I can breathe.

that's what i thought, but now I'm feeling like I may have been too cocky. I applied to 15 schools and have not heard back from a single one... and I submitted a lot of them a while ago :-/ either that or all the admissions committees conspired to drive me nuts, in which case.. bravo.luxxe wrote:3.7/173? I agree with luxxe, think you're going to have a great cycle, but if you're really worried about it, send out some more apps and hit some safeties. I'm going to send out a few more myself after fall grades post.djkrish wrote:that's what i thought, but now I'm feeling like I may have been too cocky. Everyone think its fair to say that since @katherinforlaw (or whatever her twitter name is) said 2 batches will be released by tuesday, that a lot of us should be hearing back tmrw?

Super Congrats....... looks like you're on your way with NYC. It's gonna be a tough choice between Fordham and GW/GULC...... the way out of that is if you get NYU...........

Write them a letter saying you're interested in attending, what you love about the school, etc. Call them, visit their office and talk to an admissions officer. Just let them know you want them!!notmysn1588 wrote:waitlisted as well. a little pleased with not an outright rejection. one of my top choices, if not my top. how can i turn it into an acceptance?
