Just spoke to admissions. All ED applicants will show a decision on their status checker by the end of the day supposedly. Hooray!!!

The voicemail I was left said that, if you received a scholarship, that information would be included with your acceptance package.

I didn't get to chose ED (non binding right?) but I was under the impression that anything complete before a certain date would be considered ED.

I'm complete as of 10/18, no updates. Should I be expecting an ED decision?

Generally speaking, the people working in the admissions office answering phones are law students. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you, but sometimes the time tables you hear from the admin are a tad...optimistic.

Also, you will get your scholly info in your packet.

I remember your gpa went up after you applied. Did you send in an updated transcript? I'm sorry about the hold, but really you getting held with your great LSAT should give all the holds a lot of hope for getting in soon!

i hadn't checked my status since like December, but I just looked at it after they called and it had been updated to January 30th, admitted.

Probably just their way of actually "responding" to all ED applications by January 31. Holding the vast majority of them.

I hope so. SMU is one of my top choices and I've already been accepted into a few schools ranked higher, I thought I was gonna be a pretty easy admit.
