WOO! I saw your post, and just checked my status, and I'm also in!! 3.35, 165, complete since mid-October. I didn't get into GW, so I'm excited about this!!

Does the status checker ever go to in review or is "Application Complete" what it stay at until the decision is made?

This was actually the second time I checked it, so there might have been "In Review" but I don't think so, I applied last week.

Wait, so you went complete twice? I was originally complete dated 1/7 and then again on 1/14

Yield Protection. It's when a school rejects or waitlists candidates that are clearly qualified for their school, but they're afraid they will go to a better school or are not serious about their school. I believe part of the USNWR rankings are based upon yield rate which is how many of admitted students end up matriculating. American is notorious for rejecting qualified people because they don't think they'd ever choose their school even if admitted.

Do you think they are YPing splitters? My GPA is shit but I got a 167 on the LSAT. Add that to some good softs and my URM status and I think I should make the cut.

My status checker never said "In Review", jsut application complete until I received the acceptance email.

Thanks! I am not sure. I haven't heard back from any of my reaches yet, and I'm still waiting to hear back from 4 more.. so things are unclear. Right now for me, I'm deciding between Tulane, American and Cardozo.

In via email. 163/3.0/URM (I think...I always check White as race and also the "of Hispanic Origin" [Mexican]...so I'm not sure how schools consider me).

I'm applying for the PIPS scholarship, but does anyone know when they tell us about other scholarships? Would it have been in the email?
