It's been some time for me too, Every other school I applied to I went complete relatively quickly. I haven't heard anything from GW.

I meant in regards to your completion date. I hadn't heard about my completion date so I just emailed and asked to confirm they had received my application and it was complete since I hadn't received any notification.

Haven't heard a decision yet. Applied ED and still waiting to hear. My bf (167/3.9) also applied ED and was deferred to RD but admitted immediately on 12/22. We both have some amazing softs, but it's a long shot.

It's more likely a good sign you haven't heard yet b/c a number of people who applied ED have been deferred already.

Is anyone planning on sending in a LOCI to try to get off the WL? GW was one of my top choices, but now I'm not sure if I should bother because getting in off of the WL=absolutely no money, right? I know I can't pay for GW at sticker because I have some grad school debt.

Major bummer. No money=no go. 70k/yr for GW (COL + tuition) + my grad debt= 230k. That is just waaaayyy too much for anyone who wants to go into enviro law, or anything that is not biglaw.

Not sure about GW specifically, but in the past I have heard of people getting (smaller) schollies off the WL but it is rare.
I think it might have been a semiYP waitlist but the person was rejected at higher schools/for some reason preferred that school+location and wrote LOCI stating they really wanted to attend. They were admitted off the WL w. some money (like 30-40 K total)

Applied ED and got the deferral to RD a few days ago. I am a bona fide reach with numbers just below each median, but I am not sure if any EDs with similar numbers have been rejected or WL'd. Does anyone have a sense of what the bump to RD means? Has anyone who applied ED gotten the ax or WL'd straightaway?

The Website says that even if you are rejected from ED you get Considered for RD, Idk what that means, I still haven't heard back, but I imagine it's b/c I submitted my app on 12/12 and will probably hear after the new year's.

I was really hoping for something before the New Year too. I applied ED so I guess I'll know for sure by 1/15, but that doesn't make the waiting any easier!

I live just a couple miles outside of D.C. and received my admit packet in the mail today. I'm curious if anyone else has received their packet and whether it included any scholarship offers.

I was an ED who was deferred to RD and accepted on 12/22. In addition, the packet includes information for logging into the admitted students website - which isn't allowing new admits to register. They are still showing a message from August when they last CLOSED the website.

I received mine in the mail today as well (in D.C.), no scholarship info.

I am in the same boat except more of a splitter (not quite at 75th though). Have yet to hear anything else. Considering some have been rejected, it could be worse.
