I CAST YOU OUT!

Fine... I'll go. I... I know when I'm not wanted. Good luck at Penn, you guys.
(Also, egregious anti-Northwestern trolling)
Do you think it should be MVPBN? I thought the general consensus was YHS --> CCN --> MVPB --> DNCG. I try to stay out of the TLS "mini-tier" arguments (as far as I'm concerned, they're all excellent schools).
i don't think N should be included in the top tier at all because as someone with <1 year of "work experience," i didn't even apply. it's like how MIT and Caltech waste two spots in the UG top-10 rankings when they are clearly more specialized institutions.
OK. have at me.

Honestly, I think NU's approach may be a signal of things to come.

haha yeah, recent placement seems to suggest MVPDN are peer schools, with B sort of a floater (though its placement puts it more in line with MVPDN than other groupings). But they're all top schools, and I'd be happy at any of them. But especially Duke. Please accept me, Duke.
(Yes, this is what happens when ED admissions coincide with finals. Ugh.)

UCR - 11/9/2010
Notification - 12/9/2010
They'll probably do more calls tomorrow, they can't possibly do them all in one day

It's all about the numbers. Penn isn't being holistic so much as trying to raise their LSAT median without screwing with their GPA median. For every reverse splitter they admit, they'll need, practically speaking, a traditional splitter to balance everything out.
this is the way I'm looking at it too. Even if they're on a mission to raise their GPA, they'll still need some of us 170+ people to balance out the below-median LSAT guys. Hopefully they'll call us reverse-splitters tomorrow

I can't sit in this thread anymore, everytime I see a high GPA acceptance I die a little on the inside. I'm going to smother my sorrows in a $5 foot long. Peace.
Congrats to those accepted though. Respek

That's amazing. Congrats!
Congrats to everyone else accepted today, and to those who haven't gotten the call yet, don't lose hope. I highly doubt they're finished yet.

Yes congrats in deed, that's amazing.
I wonder where are all the LSAT people? That makes me nervous a little bit.

I've never had Quiznos, true story. Subway usually disappoints me every time but I continue to eat there. Chipotle is my shit though.
