Apparently Duke is trying to lower it's class size from 220 to 180.

I toured the law school last month and neither of the guides mentioned this. I think they would have said something if the administration intended to reduce the class size so greatly. I do think that they'll be a little more conservative in terms of admissions just b/c they've overenrolled so much the past year or two, but that seems to be true of nearly every school.

E-mail sent three minutes ago... IN! Thank you Duke! I'm a little surprised by this one, wasn't sure how they'd take my personalization of my PS, but I did include several supplemental things including a pseudo-DS from overseas experience and a Duke customization of PS. I'm really happy about this one! Good luck to all who are still waiting, I thought I'd be waiting for at least another month....

Yeah, what is that??? We're admitted but not officially? Unless we agree not apply for scholarships. But whatever. What will be will be.

Was UR 11/1, then 12/8, decision 12/14, for the curious. Submitted probably 10/26 or so, but it had to waiting on Oct. test score release.

I feel the exact same, stuck in october/early november at seemingly every school.... not gonna lie, makes me feel a little better seeing you are too as your numbers are slightly higher

Thanks, everyone. TLS has had a big influence on the positive news I have received thus far. And Philly, your feedback on my PS seems to have really paid off, don't know if you remember, but you da man. You'll get yours. I hope so, no one deserves it more (some equally, perhaps... )
