LSAT @ 25, GPA @ 75

Surprised I went UR so quickly, especially if they do a #s screen.

my numbers are similar to yours (actually, yours are a little better) and I went UR 11/11 too. hopefully they don't do a numbers screen haha buuut I always wonder what that even means. Is it setting aside the people who are submitting applications with 130s and giving them a read later, or taking like, sub-170s and reading them all together? I wish I knew what was going on hah

I submitted 10/29 and I'm still processing - GPA above median, LSAT above 75%. I'm sure they have a ton of applications to get through, so it's probably healthier to just relax and do something to take your mind off the process.

I submitted on 11/3 and am still processing. LSAT above median, GPA below 25th. However, I asked NYU to hold off on reviewing my app until my second LOR comes through and they said they'd try to accommodate the request. Not sure if this will affect anything.

Here's hoping they smile on the re-takers this year. Even those of us who took it, yes, thrice.

Any speculations on what the first wave of admissions decisions will look like? NYU sent out a huge wave of acceptance letters 12/1 last year.

Am particularly curious if we will be able to see any signs of our decision on the status checker ahead of receiving our decisions via snail mail.

Yeah, were there status checkers last year? cuz it seemed like we were all pretty shocked when they came in. Really curious if our status will change to "Decision" or not.

If I recall correctly, NYU didn't have a status checker last year. We satisfied our nervous asses by compulsively trying to log on to the admitted students site on Wednesday afternoons, which was when they seemed to do their weekly update. That's how I found out.

Also if I recall correctly, somebody was mistakenly able to log on to the admitted students site and didn't actually get in :(

Ouch. Could you imagine the day that he/she had to tell all his/her family and friends that he in fact DIDNT get into NYU? God that had to be ugly.

wondering if anyone else out there is in a similar boat...I applied 9/24, but they didn't receive my last LOR til 10/18 (at which my file was supposed to be complete)...I'm still "being processed"! Is there anyone else out there who submitted 2 mos ago and still isn't under review? I'm getting pretty nervous about this (and kicking myself for not waiting to submit until all my LORs were in :/)

This is just really annoying. 10/30 submitted and 10/30 application processing status. Still stuck there. Has anyone called and asked about this? I know they say it could be several weeks until completion, but 11/11 submitted and now under review? That seems unfair.

I should have mentioned that I applied ED; could this have something to do with it?
