Definitely not feeling too bad...It's always nice to hear that a school wants you but I would have been leaning towards NYU anyways. I need a change of scenery...lived in CALI since the day I was born. U looking at NYU too?

I'm in the same position as you are. In at NYU and dinged at Berkeley. I think it hurts more that it was the first one rather than really wanting to go to Berkeley.

I didn't see anything in the email about a LOCI or a LOR - where are you guys getting that information?

same. does anyone know the breakdown of the 1st and 2nd review? how many in the 1st/how many got accepted, and how many in the 2nd/how many will get accepted? i know there's 200 total

Should we take bets on what day decisions will start to roll out? Based on last year's thread, it looks like they were quoted 2/20/09 in the letter and all decisions - admit/WL/rejects - seemed to come out on Thurs 2/19/09. So are we looking at hearing something around Thurs 2/18 this year?

I am going to place a bet on 2/18 starting at around 3pm

Question for my fellow March FR folks... is it worth the effort to put together an LOCI?

By the time I write it and they receive it I feel that it would be early March already. What do other people think about the utility of such a move?
