166 3.73 - DF. Complete 1/24 and IR a 4/23 I thought I would def be WL'ed. Can someone verify...does DF mean def. accept or reject? This batch of numbers is really throwing me off. It seems like alot of us should be wl'ed and I dont see why usc would accept this many people right now before the first deadline....i guess we will find out soon.

This is really throwing me off, too....
Is it possible this isn't just a solely "accepted/rejected" batch? Is it possible that some of us have been rejected and some have been accepted? Has USC rendered batches that have been mixed in the past?

^ I saw that too. They said their numbers are fudged on their profile.

They got waitlisted from Chicago and UCLA. Might be URM?

Re: USC 2010!
DF means either reject or accept. If you were waitlisted it would show as such on the Status Checker. They may have enough high GPAs and are looking to get LSAT folks since that's mostly what has been getting waitlistedBearTerritory wrote:166 3.73 - DF. Re: USC 2010!
166/~4.0 Decision finalized 4/27/2010...cycle almost over!
EDIT (note): If I were rejected, I would have the best LSAT/GPA combo of any rejectee on LSN (what an honor!)...this could mean good news for this batch OR it could mean this is USC taking the chance this cycle to up its medians. It's probably the latter...California, how you spurn me!

Re: USC 2010!
I've seen a few 4.0 people posting about turning DF today... Not sure what that means, though.

Well all these 4.0s comfort me (assuming this batch has the same decision for everyone). Here's hoping to an email tomorrow!!

Re: USC 2010!
It sounds like a ton of people went DF today as well as accept emails. Would this be the largest batch this cycle if they were all accepts?

What if some were rejects and some were accepts? Does USC do this??

Re: USC 2010!
The accept emails from today are from DF 4/26 I believe. And as far as I can tell, all batches have been the same decision. It does seem like there are a lot of people that went DF today and that scares me cuz it's so late in the cycle I doubt they're all acceptances.

Re: USC 2010!
Well if they're all accepts my .0000000000001% chance of getting in will be squashed as I'm sure a lot would deposit.
Here's hoping for favorable for some with enough room left over for me

Hey guys, I went DF 4/27 as well. Im almost certain to be a rejection. 2.75/169
I do have some very unique softs but I doubt they make up for that GPA. Anyway, best of luck to all of you.

Re: USC 2010!
It sounds like this batch will either be all WL's or both acceptances and rejections (the latter if what txhorn says is correct). My ~160 pretty much guarantees my rejection, but it sounds like some of you have a good chance of getting in. Whichever it is, good luck everyone!

Re: USC 2010!
All the batches so far seem to be all reject or all accept. I'm thinking it stays true to this. The only reason I think it might not is because the deposit deadline is nearing and they want to get all their decisions out by the end of the month.nonamebreakdown wrote:It sounds like this batch will either be all WL's or both acceptances and rejections (the latter if what txhorn says is correct). Decision finalized 4/27. I've been complete since 11/23. I'm a 166, 3.53. I was hoping for a wait list at best, so I'm not too confident about my chances.
