McCombs/UT, Rice, & TCU/Neeley would all argue differently. Cox is to Dallas as Dedman is to Dallas, though, for sure. It's a solid degree and my cox BBA will hang proudly by my Dedman JD

My undergrad is finance and I see no reason to water down my law degree with the MBA. If I move into corporate after spending time with a firm, and I want to move into corporate leadership, I'll let the company I'm working as in-house counsel for pay the bill for the MBA.

Anyone manage to score a license as an undergrad or 1L?
I know I paid <$100 for Vista last year, and I never run it except on exam days. You may see if they still sell vista licenses--I'm sure they're cheaper than 7, and it doesn't really matter if you run osX for everything.

TCU sucks. let's be honest. But yes UT and Rice have outstanding business schools.

Business Week showing SMU at 18 and UT at 21. Depending on what you consider the south, SMU is as good as any (Duke, UVA, UNC, Emory up there too). Rice and TCU NR. If you're looking for an EMBA, BusinessWeek lists SMU at 9th. Pretty damn impressive whether you want to go that route or not.

I was surprised that SMU overtook McCombs MBA. I never considered SMU when I was looking at business schools for UG.

I've been thinking about the jd/MBA program but I figured I'd wait and see how grades turn out first semester before really getting serious about it. I'd hate to committ to a forth year of massive debt/no wages unless there was light at the end of the tunnel.

I'm thinking about it as well. I've been working for some time now, so I don't know if having an BBA, work experience, and an MBA would just be redundant in the eyes of a hiring partner. We get it, you like business.

Would there be any utility in getting an MBA?

I'm much older than you, and therefore much wiser. Just go ahead and quit now.

From what I can tell there are a lot of people with WE. I've only been out of UG for a year and I feel like I'm on the very young end as well.

Mine is up also. Section 703 (which is the part time/evening section) except for LRW which is 710.

Section 002. The way I see it, both sections lose.

Section 001 as well. Perhaps they try and put all the TLS'ers in the same section?

Looking forward to meeting some of you. We need some sort of TLS signal for orientation.

Edit - dammit. One class on Monday...I have to drive all the way in for one class.

703 and 712 for me. It looks like we have 81 or 82 part-timers.
