FWIW, last cycle had 58 reported admits on LSN. We're only at 27 so far this cycle.

I saw some spec in the Yale thread about the # of people in the Facebook group and # of spots remaining.

FWIW, Stanford promotes a Google Group to its admitted students, though I can't remember how. There are currently 59 members (not including the group starter, SLS 2014). When I joined in late January, there were around 20.

EDIT: Looks like the promotion is just a page on the Admitted Students Website. So it probably misses quite a few admits.

EDIT: Looks like the promotion is just a page on the Admitted Students Website. So it probably misses quite a few admits.

Also, all the people who have posted in the SLS Google group sound like they are definitely enrolling, so there's also probably significant self-selection among the people who see the promotion to those who actually join it. (Same issue applies of course to fb group)

Since this was a late submitter, I don't think the chronology idea makes sense. My guess is that the applications are grouped by category instead of only by complete date.

Also, Stanford apparently doesn't accept February scores for this cycle even if you're still under review. That completely devastates the joy of my new score. I don't want to wait another cycle, and I don't want to go somewhere cold.
