Does anyone know how long it takes to get the email? I got an admittance letter today and requested a password around noon. Still haven't gotten one yet and it's 4ish Central time.

I got one right away (on 12/6). Check your junk mail.

The password generation worked for me as well. I am feeling very nice right now.

e-mail generated. haven't received it, yet.

So, did anyone else get switched over from both to part time on their status checker? I'm not sure how I feel about that... <unsure which smilie goes here>

I had a big 12/20 update, the first time in a month (interviewed three weeks ago). However, no email generated. Is this a bad sign????

I think last week it took someone over an hour before they received his/her email.

After my interview, I updated 12/10, then 12/15, then today. I think you might have to wait a few more updates before worrying about getting an email.

Hey guys,

I'm a current 2L at Gtown. I can tell you I was paranoid they made a mistake and were going to kick me out until about 1 week into the term, haha.

Congrats everyone!

Status checker hasn't updated since a week ago, looks like I'll be waiting till 2011.

Curse you very busy attorney who was kind enough to interview me yet had to wait until December to do it! :P

A couple of weeks ago the site generated login info, but people didn't receive the emails until like 6 am the next morning. So if you don't get it for a while, don't stress out.

Such a thing has not been reported, no. Everyone who has claimed to have gotten the email has eventually reported getting an acceptance letter. I'm 99.9% sure it's a legit indication.

I'm more curious about the other way around-- has anybody been accepted without being able to access the ASW right away? I'm still holding out hope, haha.

Waitlisted at UVA. How does one go about switching to ED at gtown? I'd really love to be in dc. Does ED give the same bump? Also, how does your interviewer get in touch with you? So many questions.

GULC will email you and request an interview, then once you say you'd like to be interview the alumni will either call or email you.

to switch to ED, email or call the Admissions office and ask them. I think I filled out the ED application, and emailed them a scanned copy of it. Then, I had to send in a hard copy.

Ahhh! I've been checking the Admitted Students "NO PASSWORD" link religiously since 11/29 (my first complete) and was FINALLY able to generate a user-name and password this evening (Monday, 12/20, 7:30 PM ET).

I went through four updates: 11/24 (sent in app) => 11/29 => 12/3 => 12/15 => 12/20

Good-luck to those still in waiting! =)

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
