I just called and had them resend it to my permanent address. Let's hope it gets there. It was 12/17. Seeing as how I will be back on campus on Jan 4th. Let's hope they get it out to me soon.

I went UR around then, too! But I'm in Brooklyn, so I'll probably have to wait a month for my envelope to arrive

OMFG, I spoke too soon...roommate just texted me to say I got a purple envelope. I'm RD, under review 12/7, LSAT near 75th, GPA near 25th.... am I in? Status checker is still at UR. The only rejection has been ED, right? I told the roomie not to open it. The next two hours at work would be unbearable if I got dinged.

I don't think they send rejections in purple envelopes... :D

I went UR 12/10 and have similar numbers. If a happy purple envelope makes its way to me before Christmas I will consider it the best holiday ever.

The anxiety of not knowing would be worse to deal with for me, sounds like you're in though!

Do you really think so? Because I'm trying to stay hopeful, and we're pretty similar numbers-wise.

I just thought about this. So am I going to have two decision letters? One at temp address and one at my permanent address? Third, this lady didn't seem like I got in she was like "Yeah you have something in the mail...with the driest most disinterested voice." I was like

I don't know if others have posted yet, but I got a rejection letter from NYU just now. I am a 12/15 decision letter mailed person and ED.

So two people have gotten accepted without their status checkers updating to decision letter sent? This is potentially exciting news!

Dear NYU,

I would like very much to give you a hug (and lots of money), if only you'll send me a purple envelope.

It looks kind of like this.

Call me.

Love,

Denied. Fiddlesticks.

ED applicant, "Decision Sent" on 12/15. Low numbers, strong softs. Letter came in a small white envelope.

Ah well, here's hoping Berkeley and Michigan have a bit more of that holiday spirit. Ever forward!

Congratulations to everyone who was accepted, and best of luck to those still waiting to hear.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
