I didn't get the recent email from NYU and I don't know what that means

My application just went UR2 2/24 tho, with UR1 from 02/10 so not sure if that indicates anything

For reference I have a 171 and an international degree which is a little more difficult to convert the GPA but LSAC determined it as 'superior' whatever that means lol

Any idea on if this is a good sign/bad sign/ I'm crazy and it means absolutely nothing? NYU is my top choice so I'm a nervous wreck lol :?

you probably didn't get the email because you applied in February. For the most part, the email was sent to people who have been waiting awhile (since 2016).

Are there people who recently were accepted with October or November UR dates (And no date updates thereafter?)

Do they really do a median wave? Or y'all are just hoping for that? Genuinely curious.

Just read every March and April page of last year's thread (I have a life ok?) and I'm just being honest, it's over for me. Not a single deferred ED person heard until late april, when all 3 were waitlisted (late april). And there was barely a wave in March or April; a few one offs on Tuesdays and three acceptances on the last wednesday of March.

Thanks, NYU. I thoroughly enjoyed this.

Were anyone of them ultimately accepted? If so, your wait may continue through the summer!

Just one was ultimately accepted. So, the wait will *likely* not continue for this one over here.

EDIT - I saw that you had text in bold now (sorry, on my phone). CORRECTION - nope, NONE of them (ED DEFERRALS) were ultimately accepted.

3 is a small sample size

Also I doubt they put you in your own category I think you would have just as good a chance off WL than everyone else
