What are your UR2 dates?
Embarrassingly enough, I didn't actually have access to my Penn status checker. Submitted my app with the wrong email address initially and was never forwarded the email with username/password after fixing it. Sorry :oops:

Stupid question:
I have some problem with my family plan so my cell phone's currently out of service so I can't receive calls from schools. :( If I'm admitted how long it will take for me to get emails from say Penn Law after they make the call? Will it have any negative effect on my result because I'm not reachable by phone?

Won't impact their decision, not sure about the other questions.

IN at Penn. VM at 3:15 (so like just now). LSAT above the 75th and GPA between median and 75th. Submitted in November, went UR2 1/29.

Wrote what I thought was a rather strong Why Penn.

Anyone care to take a shot at explaining why this UR1 1/17 wave is seeing such quick turnaround? As a 12/24 I feel sad and neglected and I feel dread.

Edit: could admits please post at least their median comparison? eg. 25-50 GPA >75 LSAT? THANK YOU IN ADVANCE

I second this. I'm 99.9% expecting to be a part of the next WL wave as a UR1 12/24 -> UR2 2/4

It looks like they went through 1/17 & picked some for a fast track. Assuming top LSAT #s for the most part. I'm a 1/17 and no update. So, we'll probably be considered in the same batch of UR1s they've skipped over at some point.

There is no reason this would influence their decision. I got a call on a Friday and got an e-mail from them on late Monday or Tuesday. So I guess 3-5 days?

Congrats all admits! Welcome to the club. :D

Those of you still waiting, hang in there. It took me a month to go UR1 and another 1.5 months to go UR2.

Hey, this is somewhat relevant to me. I didn't answer my phone when they called and my voicemail wasn't set up (whoops!). They sent an informal acceptance email immediately, then followed up a couple days later with a formal one. :)
