I wish there was a way to anti-apply or donate negative dollars to New York Law School, Samford, Penn State, and the others that are a little too close in name to the schools I want to be hearing from.Nonconsecutive wrote:jingosaur wrote:I got a nice big envelope in the mail today... from New York... They coordinate two of their their ASWs to help people (1) miss less days of school/work and (2) make only one trip to NYC. I'm sure there are other good reasons as well that I'm not thinking of. I'm very happy they overlap. Additionally, the make their travel stipend requirements in a way that you can qualify for a stipend for both schools (you have to attend CLS' till Thursday 12:00pm but you don't have to start NYU's till after 12:00 noon).

At least it can't be confused w/ an acceptance letter. That would be serious trolling. Sorry to hear it, nodayNoDayButToday wrote:Thin envelope tonight in the mail...dinged! Oh well, worth a shot.

Kind of relieved in a way. My sister goes to Columbia and I love visiting her in NYC, but it's probably not really a fit for me anyway.

So sorry, I'm sure you have other great options!! Silly question but was the envelope blue or white? I can't trust my parents to tell me if it's thin or thick.
