Are JS1s still being given a week or so for anyone after going Complete, or is that too much to expect this late into the cycle?

This is probably in here somewhere, and I missed it, but does Harvard's status checker actually switch from Complete to UR or does the date just change?

Another long week of waiting begins...complete radio silence since 11/20 makes me feel so alone.

The fact that you didn't get held on Friday is interesting... No idea what it means though!tee.ell.ess wrote:complete since early october. silence since. anyone identified a pattern to people that missed the bloodbath?

Re: Harvard c/o 2016 Applicants (2012-2013)
My understanding of the Harvard admissions process is that the number of readers per application varies. If you weren't held then I would guess that they are just having more people read your application - quite possibly, professors who may get through reading applications more slowly due to other commitments.risa wrote:We should start our own thread: "NOT Held at Harvard, Not Accepted at Harvard, Not Rejected at Harvard - c/o 2016"ManOfTheMinute wrote:The fact that you didn't get held on Friday is interesting... Soon! It took 19 days for me to go complete, and I've seen on LSN people who have taken longer (but were accepted in the end, which is what really matters).TripTrip wrote:Same here. Is there a prediction for when the next wave of JS1s will go out and for what range of complete dates? I've been trying to figure it out from the thread but it's hard to track with all the excitement. Thanks!

Any idea if they are still on Nov/Dec completes or if it'll include early Jan?Wormfather wrote:I'm betting on next Monday for JS1s.Audeamus wrote:Is there a prediction for when the next wave of JS1s will go out and for what range of complete dates? From what I've read, I would guess later this week.mommalee wrote:What about JS2s/hold/dings?Wormfather wrote:I'm betting on next Monday for JS1s.Audeamus wrote:Is there a prediction for when the next wave of JS1s will go out and for what range of complete dates? JS1s don't have much to do with complete date. Many December completes got December JS1s and September completes got January JS1s. I would be surprised if no January completes got a JS1 in the next round.Audeamus wrote:Any idea if they are still on Nov/Dec completes or if it'll include early Jan?Wormfather wrote:I'm betting on next Monday for JS1s.Audeamus wrote:Is there a prediction for when the next wave of JS1s will go out and for what range of complete dates? Re: Harvard c/o 2016 Applicants (2012-2013)
It seems like Tues/Wednes/Thurs are interview days and Mondays and Fridays are when they send out (non-JS1?) decisions. The short week might change things this week, but my money would've been on decisions going out today, which isn't likely now, so I think they're just holding off till Friday.Audeamus wrote:From what I've read, I would guess later this week.mommalee wrote:What about JS2s/hold/dings?Wormfather wrote:I'm betting on next Monday for JS1s.Audeamus wrote:Is there a prediction for when the next wave of JS1s will go out and for what range of complete dates? Sweet. Now I know my neuroticism isn't entirely unjustified. Although, with my numbers, I won't be the least bit surprised if I'm an auto-ding.Yukos wrote:JS1s don't have much to do with complete date.
