While I hope those still waiting on a decision here some good news, my prediction still stands. No more acceptances will be handed out unless it comes from the waitlist.

Same thing happened to me today -- updated from 1/5 to 3/11 ... but no WL email or ding or anything ...

Same here. I had been stuck at my initial UR date in November, and it just updated to 3/11 in the last hour or so.

Did you see your status checker change to the decision before the email came in?

Hope springs eternal, but with all the WLs going out lately, it's not likely. Still, it will be nice to have one less status checker to check.

Looks like another unproductive afternoon of hitting "refresh" and "send/receive." As others have said, not expecting much, but the anticipation is a killer.

Mine updated a few days ago (3/8), and I still haven't heard any word. So it's not a complete death knell. Not immediately, anyway.

Whether it's YP or not isn't that relevant. You're in at Chicago with a JR1 and likely a later JR2, have fun at Harvard, lol.

No! Tamp down positive talk of any kind. Positivity can be appropriated for any of these folks' needs, indiscriminately. We must nurture grim outlooks everywhere. I for one can't stand the waiting, and think those remaining should forget any notions of silver linings!
