Where are you leaning?
at this point, i'm completely baffled. to my great amazement, i got admitted to yale over the weekend, too. but haven't heard from chicago or northwestern yet... and was held at harvard... not a word from stanford either or columbia... so, i think i don't have enough information at this point. i think i can safely withdraw from depaul at this point, though.
and THANKS!

$10,000k/year. Pretty excited. Wondering if I can appeal for more or if they commonly give out need-based grants (not loans).

that is actually very amazing if you think about it. I think TLS is starting to have a major effect in the law school admissions game. Folks know how to better prepare for the LSAT, how to write PS well, LOCI, etc. Pretty cool.

Yea, it is definitely a big help. And definitely better on so many levels than people running to admissions consutants, which for some reason just rubs me the wrong way.

Got a Darrow as well -- and predicting an epic fail with HYS. Unless any of them bite or I get substantial money to somewhere in the CCN, likely Michigan for me

Those of you getting decision letters.. could you possibly tell me when you applied?
I applied mid/late November before Thanksgiving and still haven't heard anything. (I did get the quasi hold/courtsey e-mail).
Not that I'm expecting anything other than rejection with my numbers

I applied just before Thanksgiving, too, and my decision letter arrived last night. I never heard anything from them after I got the status checker.

And with that, a little piece of me dies... Considering flying to Ann Arbor, going to their office, and begging. Is that too forward?

Yea, they seem to be taking their time, even for applicants with really strong numbers. If you have something to add to your file (Fall grades, for instance, or a recent award or achievement), this might not be a bad time to send them a letter saying you sent the materials, along with a little statement reiterating your interest...

3 weeks for me...I just re-read their email they sent when they received my application, and it says to contact them if you don't go complete within 6 weeks....I guess I'll be waiting a while to email them

I was thinking about just sending a LOCI but maybe that will be unwelcome.

I still cant believe they have not gotten back to the people with really high numbers who applied really early (ie Puppins)

I've added a new transcript (+.01 - WAHOO) and a "Why Mich" in the last week. Hopefully that'll help!

I think you're probably good for the 45k. There's a pretty good line going by LSN of who gets which Dean's, going by the past few years. (Alternatively, I might consider trading mine for Chicago.
