They seem to be hitting that threshold roughly in chronological order, whereas the odd couple of people grabbed from later waves doesn't seem to say much about any particular early wave's situation.

Re: Harvard c/o 2018 Applicants (2014-2015 Cycle)
In total, we have had 15 JS1 waves and 4 JS2 waves. The following is the amount of people within each JS1 wave who has received a JS2. I'm doing this by interview invitation date rather than actual interview because this data is accessible and there shouldn't be too much difference for people within the same wave (1-2 weeks maximum).
Oct 27: 7 of 11 (11 JS1s were reported in this wave, and 7 have now reported JS2s)
Oct 31: 5 of 6
Nov 3: 5 of 7
Nov 10: 10 of 14
Nov 14: 4 of 5
Nov 24: 7 of 18
Dec 4: 4 of 10
Dec 12: 2 of 4
Dec 15: 3 of 5
Dec 24: 8 of 20
Jan 6: 1 of 2
Jan 8: 5 of 16
Jan 23: 0 of 1
Jan 26: 0 of 5
Feb 2: 0 of 2
Keep in mind this information is not complete, as it is just based on what people report in the thread.

Also, an added caveat is that we don't really know if all JS1 waves are equal. Maybe some JS1 waves are selectively stronger than others, or are selectively chosen for specific stats (splitters, reverse-splitters, etc.). I'm not sure if this is true, but it's a possibility. So this plus variance means the final acceptance rate per wave may or may not be ~75%, I'm not really sure.

I seem to remember at least the first few JS1 waves being almost exclusively people with very high numbers, so those would probably end up with higher post-JS1 acceptance rates.pylon wrote:Also, an added caveat is that we don't really know if all JS1 waves are equal. This cycle is so much different than last cycle (much later JS1 and JS2 waves) that I wouldn't count on that trend continuing.morimoto1991 wrote:Thanks pylon for all the work

Yup, last cycle two days in a row was the maximum. But last cycle was different, like mentioned. Hopefully the wait isn't too long before the next wave!antiworldly wrote:This cycle is so much different than last cycle (much later JS1 and JS2 waves) that I wouldn't count on that trend continuing.morimoto1991 wrote:Thanks pylon for all the work

longtime lurker checking in...
submitted beginning of december, interview request jan. 8, interviewed jan. 21st.
GPA > 50%, LSAT > 50%
i'm now nervously waiting and kicking myself for not taking an earlier interview date since apparently 5 people from the jan. 8 JS1 wave have found out already?!
also - i'm sure this has been discussed already, but international applicants are notified via email, correct?

I'm international and only received a call - no email yet. Although I'm not sure of you're considering Canada non-international in which case never mind.hillz wrote:Correct, intl applicants get an acceptance email.kulizy1 wrote:longtime lurker checking in...

Interesting. I'll add it to my notes that cat avatars don't have to fall into the "cute kitten/cat" cliche to be effective.... hmmm....KissMyAxe wrote:JS2 like 2 minutes ago!!!!
