I haven't been tracking it exactly, but my general impression from reading the posts in the last few weeks has been that most UR2s have about a 2 week turn around, although there have been several exceptions (shorter and longer).bart001 wrote:Is 2 weeks the general consensus for a response from Penn after being placed at UR2?

Re: Penn c/o 2017 Applicants (2013-2014 cycle)
Went complete yesterday. With all the dings/wls, not feeling too excited... :{
Anyone have any luck submitting an optional essay after the fact? Is Penn generally receptive to additional materials? Their correspondence seems the "coldest" of the schools to which I've applied, so I'm leaning toward no.

What are your stats vis a vis the median? You might as well keep it for a potential WL.wealtheow wrote:Went complete yesterday. With all the dings/wls, not feeling too excited... :{

U of C was for me. I emailed Penn adcomms about updating my PS after I realized I sent them the wrong copy, they were ok with that. Tried the same with Chicago a week ago...I don't think I'll be getting a reply.wealtheow wrote:Went complete yesterday. With all the dings/wls, not feeling too excited... :{

Just got the call a little while ago -- I'm in!! I really can't believe it. I have been waiting so long to hear, I just pushed the idea of a Penn acceptance out of my mind completely.
Complete first week of October
UR1: 12/3
UR2: 1/30
LSAT 175+, GPA between Penn's 25th and 50th percentiles.
