Rejected via snail mail, never got the hold email.
sorry to hear that.
This does not bode well for the rest of us.
No, that's not true. You may have better luck. My lsat was not UMich material. UMich loved me for undergrad and offered my 2 scholarships, the honors program and more. So, I applied to the law school thinking they would also show me some love, but they didn't.
You really cannot go by my rejection since my lsat was low for them.I wish you luck!

Thought I was getting my rejection in the mail today.
Instead, I got an email requesting information on what I've been doing since June 2010.
Whew. I guess they're still considering my app.

Or you skipped the part on the app that explicitly asks:
"If you are not presently enrolled in an educational institution, we would find it particularly helpful to know what you are doing now; whether you are working, volunteering, traveling, seeking employment, or anything else, please be sure to tell us your current and planned activities prior to enrolling in law school."

What's the most recent status checker date to get into the admitted website? I want to know when I can legitimately try it

I just got one of them yesterday, (at like 11:30 at night, weird) and I e-mailed right back. I got the confirmation e-mail this morning, that's a really fast turnaround time.

Yeah...my confirmation came around eight-thirty PST.
That's weird your email came so late. My first email came at about twelve-thirty PM, again PST.

Two weeks into owning a status checker, I'm still in the game! That's exciting enough for me

Haha though I'm sure a rejection will be coming eventually.

Yea, had mine since a few days before Christmas and have yet to hear anything. Feels like a small win, but I am sure a huge fail is coming.

Applied 12/13/10, received status checker 1/20/11.
Has anyone else with similar dates heard back yet? If it took over a month just to get the status checker I'm not really hopeful about hearing back any time soon...

I had kinda similar dates. Applied 12/1, checker 1/5, admit last Friday. So you should hear back maybe next week or the week after I would assume. Not exactly sure if the timeline is gospel, though.

Applied 12/08, checker 1/13, decision 2/1 (via ASW, letter arrived on 2/4)
So, I'd say you should be expecting movement any day. Good luck!
