Interviewed about a week and a half ago, was told I'd be in last Friday's decision pool (my interviewer implied good news). Still no word from them. Anybody else been in this position? Do I have to wait until Friday for any more decisions? Wash U is fast climbing my list of where I'd like to be! (And you guys seem like one of the cooler threads!)

This whole exchange wherein you inadvertently called Attax's future school a turd-bucket-by-proxy has been the highlight of my day. At least one other person reported this as well, and I believe the official answer from the school was that apps are backing up a little. I wouldn't read into it.ChicagoCPA wrote:Interviewed about a week and a half ago, was told I'd be in last Friday's decision pool (my interviewer implied good news). Still no word from them. Decisions have come out Wednesdays and Fridays this cycle, so maybe Wednesday this week is your day. Here's hoping for good news!

From what I've heard, it's either they send you a travel stipend or you're SOL.pauly_biegler wrote:Never heard anything about a travel stipend, should I solicit?

I got a big scholarship and I'm OOS (probably 8 hours by car), and I got one, but that was probably a no-brainer on their part. I'm not sure about more borderline cases.rion91 wrote:Any trends if geographic, need, or merit based?AceDeuces wrote:From what I've heard, it's either they send you a travel stipend or you're SOL.pauly_biegler wrote:Never heard anything about a travel stipend, should I solicit?

I got a small scholarship, am an 18 hour drive away, and I got one. LSAT > 75th though regarding the small scholarship.

They gave me one even though I live within the 150 miles so I am guessing it is need, merit, or random.rion91 wrote:Any trends if geographic, need, or merit based?AceDeuces wrote:From what I've heard, it's either they send you a travel stipend or you're SOL.pauly_biegler wrote:Never heard anything about a travel stipend, should I solicit?

I know, I know. I just felt weird having a blonde avatar when I have dark hair and grey eyes. You do realize that Elle Woods was played by Reese Witherspoon, right? You take back this blasphemy and atone for your wrongs. You atone now, Fiero.Fiero85 wrote:"Alright somebody has to say it.
