click the "no password" link. If you're in, it will tell you it's emailing you a login.

Don't worry, someone asks the same question almost every page or every other page

Preferred WListed

Did anyone get Special-Preferred Waitlisted??? That sounds hilarious and apparently that existed last year.

Got a rare "Wait List" email from Georgetown. Not Preferred or Special-Preferred. Kind of surprised to be Waitlisted at all, I thought I'd be an auto-reject.

Have any part-time applicants received a response yet? I submitted on 12/23 and received my first status check on 1/9. No ASW login yet....

Has anyone been able to generate ASW logins after updating today? I had my 3rd update today and thought 4pm day of the update you could usually generate a login on ASW (assuming you were admitted) but no such luck thus far...

I went complete on 1/9 and was able to generate ASW login on 1/17. But I was ED/part-time.

I had two updates before an interview and four after the interview until I was able to generate a username/password so I wouldn't be too worried yet

Did you also update to 1/18 today? And how long ago did you receive the email? Waitlist is better than a reject, just got waitlisted at UVA so I can empathize. Sounds kind of badass to say you've been cornblatt'd though.

Man that's rough... Patience isn't a virtue of mine, but I guess it paid off for you in the end! I'll keep waiting though...

I'm a PT applicant with an 11/23 complete day and a 12/1 update. Movement on PT applications last year didn't happen until February.

I'm going to venture a guess that "preferred" is just a way to placate us who have been waitlisted.

Perhaps, but there is a regular or non-preferred waitlist for us long-shot folks. As I found out today via email.

FYI: Dean Cornblatt just said on a call with tfa corps members that they have around 6,000 applicants so far this year. They had 12,000 last year

2.78/171

Originally an ED applicant
Did an interview
Decided I no longer wanted to be ED
Called them up, they switched me to RD

In!

Unexpected but I don't think I'll be attending anyway.

Congrats to everyone else whose gotten in and good luck to those still waiting.

Yes, unfortunately. Special group within the Preferred Waiting List, to be exact.
