So I finally went complete at Cornell on 3/04 after a 1/10 submission (goodness). Can someone tell me what the approx. time frame for going from complete--> decision is?

Thanks!!

If you were talking about me, no. I identify as African American.

All I know is, it's a long time. I went complete 2/20 (submitted in mid December) and have not yet gone under review.

I think the time line varies. For what it's worth, mine picked up speed, and very quickly.

Submitted 11/26
Received 11/30
Complete 2/2
UR 1 2/17
UR2 2/28
UR 3 3/2
Decision 3/8

On your status checker there should be a link that reads 'Online RSVP Website'

Click on that and it'll redirect you to another site with the top reading 'Travel Subsidy Form'

I applied just now. Any word on how much they may be willing to help cover?

Depends on how far you live. If you live on the opposite coast, around $300. If you live in the south/middle of the country, $175. (I'm merely basing this on my and other posters subsidies)

OK...this is going to sound like I'm really behind so I apologize in advance, but for Cornell were we supposed to apply for $$ or do they just give it out?

All the info you need is here:
http://www.lawschool.cornell.edu/admiss ... or_aid.cfm

Summary:

1. Fill out FAFSA
2. Fill out NeedAccess
3. Complete Cornell Law School Financial Aid Sheet
4. Submit 2010 parent tax returns
5. Submit your 2010 tax returns

The deadline I believe is March 15 and I think that's all you need...I could be terribly mistaken though.

Even if all you want is Merit Aid, you're still required to fill all of this out I think.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
