Trying not to get my hopes up too high for today... It looks like there haven't been JR2s two Mondays in a row all cycle...

Has the rate of JR1s increased? Seems to me there have been new JR1s each week--is this something we've seen all cycle, or only recently? (Tying to get some hope going here, if the pace of JR1s has increased, perhaps the rate of JR2s will also)

I don't recall there being any JR1 emails last week, maybe this week there will be movement for new JR1?

Last week's twitter update makes me wonder if they're going to start alerting us that way going forward. Nothing posted today. My money is still on a big day next Monday. Of course if calls come today I will gladly eat my words without complaint

Last week there was one at 3:30 EST or so

Earliest calls by date for THIS year as reported on TLS:
2/21 @ 3:48 EST*, 2/7 @ 10:57 EST, 1/24 @ 10:50 EST, 1/10 @ 12:34 EST.

Earliest calls by date for LAST year as reported on TLS:
3/8 @ 3:52 EST, 2/15 @ 2:00 EST*, 2/8 @ 12:11 EST

Not sure if that helps or not since it seems fairly arbitrary.

Is this strange, or is it just me? I want to send in a LOCI, or an additional LOR (I could send in two), but... I don't know if that would actually do any good--or even, somehow, harm...

You were the "fender bender right?" I'd still like to know why you think that... please pm me if you don't want to share here.
But I'm a fan of the LOCI. I was forgotten, so I sent a LOCI, then I was held, and then I got a JR1. So I'd like to to think the letter might have done something. If you're really worried your JR1 didn't go well, then if I were you I would try to do everything else to get in. If that means sending a LOCI, do it. As for LOR, I'd send one depending on how many you sent initially. If you sent 3 already, not sure what a new one will do unless it offers a different perspective.

No, this is me, too. I'm waiting to send a LOCI until I'm held (which, at this point, is where I assume I'm headed). It's strange, yes, but I feel fortunate to still be in the running and not officially held or dinged.

Yeah, that was me. Though I'd thought through my reasons for attending law school before I ever got my JR1 email, I feel as if I rambled about a premise to my answer to the "why law school" question, and never really got to the point. The rest of the call was fine, but... nerves definitely did me in for the first part... which they don't usually do at all. Ugh.

It's looking more and more like an LOCI is in order, even though I haven't been held or heard anything else yet--especially given that I do plan on going if accepted.
