Speaking from experience: I retook in Feb but had already submitted my app to HLS, received a JS1, and completed the JS1. A couple weeks before the test (after the JS1), I e-mailed HLS and asked them to hold my app for a decision until my Feb score was released, and they responded saying they would hold it. I haven't heard anything else from them since, and my score hasn't been released yet, so I'd assume they are sticking to their word and waiting for my score until any decision is made!VapidP wrote:Harvard's FAQ page says that they don't consider the Feb LSAT for this years admissions. Some other sites say that they don't guarantee full consideration, which I'm not entirely sure what that means.
Does anyone have more clarity on this issue?

Update - Facebook group is at 244 members, and I know they haven't accepted some people's requests yet. I was admitted yesterday, and my request is still pending.

There are people who interviewed in December who still haven't heard. Harvard has only done 2 waves of JS2's thus far I believe, they're behind in their application process so I don't think you can infer anything.kiwi50 wrote:I read there was no correlation between a JS1 and the timing of a JS2. I'm just above/just below LSAT/GPA medians respectively and also interviewed early Jan (no JS2 so far). I think last year a lot of people on my timeline with my numbers waited until mid/late March to hear something. I wouldn't count yourself out yet.kiwi50 wrote:I read there was no correlation between a JS1 and the timing of a JS2. Fellow friends still waiting for a JS1, does anyone feel like there's still hope? Does anyone know when the JS1s stop?

There were four JS1 waves in March last year. So yeah, there is still hope.CA1993 wrote:Fellow friends still waiting for a JS1, does anyone feel like there's still hope? Does anyone know when the JS1s stop?

According to the OP, the last wave was 3/14 last year but who knows if that means anything this year.CA1993 wrote:Fellow friends still waiting for a JS1, does anyone feel like there's still hope? Does anyone know when the JS1s stop?
I personally don't have hope but that's more because for my stats it's a reach for me anyway. If I had good stats and especially if I applied later...I'd still have hope

Given the size of yesterday's wave, I'm not too confident in the likelihood of a consecutive wave. That said, I hope HLS proves me wrong.

Do we know how many total JS1 waves there have been this year? Also, it seems like some JS1s have been slowly leaking out this year. Are they still mainly coming in waves?nimbus cloud wrote:There were four JS1 waves in March last year.
