People were talking a bit ago about getting decisions at weird times, and it made me think how grateful I will be to be back stateside for the rest of my cycle (I'll be back in two weeks) because so far my two interview requests and my one acceptance have come at like 12:30 pm and getting news like that (especially if its bad) is not a recipe for a good nights sleep. Also its really too late to start drinking at that point if I want to be respectable the next day.

Haha, I guess I'll chime in despite being an outlier. I'll be 28 in August, moving to law school with a husband and 2 kids. Besides scholly considerations and a new job for my husband, the biggest stress will be finding a good school district.

Trust me, you will regret following this advice. I know, I know, at first, you two hit it off; you like the way JW smells, and JW makes you feel good about yourself-- funnier, smarter, more confident. As the relationship advances, you'll start to think about taking it to the next level. This is where things take a turn for the worst. Next thing you know, JW's top will be off, and you'll ask yourself "can I really squeeze into that hole?" The answer, unfortunately, is yes. However, you should have asked whether you could get out of it. You know that a clean break is impossible, and anything messy will be too painful to handle. Don't make my mistakes.

Penn just seemed kinda magical.

I get that feeling in a way too. Was thinking about not even applying, but figured I'd try to write a Why and see how it went. After it was all done I think my Why Penn was my strongest Why! Pretty sure I get dinged, though, so not really thinking about it.

Is not writing a "Why X" that much of a liability..? Getting kind of concerned now. I thought the strategy was to wait until LOCIs (if it comes down to that) to write "Why X" essays unless you have an overly compelling reason to attend
