Still not 100% convinced we're not getting trolled. Why so slow?

Queedo's an URM with great stats, so her "place in line" might be out of order?herecomesthesun wrote:been wondering the same over here.oliverotis wrote:Still not 100% convinced we're not getting trolled. Why so slow?

Nothing on LSN or the spreadsheet, yet. We're not being trolled (I have more faith in our loyal TLSers than that [and my heart couldn't take it if it were true), but maybe our merry little band is just in the wrong place in line.herecomesthesun wrote:no?cranburial wrote:Queedo's an URM with great stats, so her "place in line" might be out of order?herecomesthesun wrote:been wondering the same over here.oliverotis wrote:Still not 100% convinced we're not getting trolled. My friend who's not on TLS also got a JS2 around half an hour ago, so definitely not trolling

It's probably just reaaaaallly slow. If they have a ton to get through, that's a lot of processing

Longtime lurker..any chance those of you with non-posting JS2 friends could share their JS1 dates? (or approximate)

I was reading the thread from last year and people were still getting them in July off the waitlist... So yeah, we might have a long way to go but don't give up hope!RedWhite&Blonde wrote:At what point in the cycle do they stop issuing JS1s?ftge232 wrote:I've completely prepared myself for rejection, not a peep since going complete. I'm going to say it outright: this cycle is just straight up weird. That includes this forum and the JS2 waves.
ETA: I checked Twitter (because I'm that desperate for news) and one person's friend got in four minutes ago (https://twitter.com/TyMitchelFox/status ... 3951397888) and another's brother got in one hour ago (https://twitter.com/Bounceyboyy/status/ ... 3499508736)

Um I would definitely not troll this crowd, given how hyped we are when waiting. I'm just at work and it's hard to update the spreadsheet from my phone.mdnyc wrote:Nothing on LSN or the spreadsheet, yet. Brilliant. Now who's going to retweet asking for complete dates?mdnyc wrote:I'm going to say it outright: this cycle is just straight up weird. That includes this forum and the JS2 waves.

Re: Harvard C/O 2019 Applicants
If any of the posters/lurkers who have been admitted today wanted to share who they received their call from, it might help explain why today's wave has seemed slow. If it's only JS making calls, it would probably seem a lot slower compared to the last JS2 day (when virtually every interviewer in the admissions office was making calls, it seemed).herecomesthesun wrote:It's probably just reaaaaallly slow. Fingers crossed for everyone waiting!!
