Northwestern doesn't have a hockey team anyways. With the growth of hockey at the youth level in the Chicago land due to the hawks resurgence it's about time nu or ui get an NCAA hockey team. They'll have a spot in the new big ten hockey conference waiting for them.

I'll play if it means bumping into some jacked hot 6'5" Northwestern Law student. (It most likely wouldn't and I would be eaten alive.)

The Blackhawks don't even field a 6'5" to bump into...lol


UIUC won't be able to join a NCAA level hockey team until they construct a college regulation sized rink but the Chicagoland youth hockey has produced College and NHL level talent for awhile now.

There's a JDMBA in the class of 2015 who played for Trenton and Lowell in the Devils system.

Well, I mean, you have to go to Evanston (to the main campus) for club sports. It's not like the law school has its own hockey teams.

Can't believe that we've reached the deposit deadline and I've still heard nothing back. I'm hoping that this means they sent out too many offers and are just waiting to see who deposits and withdraws to make sure they can afford the full scholarship they're waiting to give me. That sounds totally plausible, right?

I imagine they are still kind of looking over the pool right now. If it was purely a numbers game they wouldn't have made us go through the essays. I def think NU will ding people who help their medians but don't really understand the school's objectives/aren't fits

You're on the wait list while people with similar/better stats have been outright rejected. I think you're still in this if you can demonstrate genuine interest. Their LSAT median fell to a 168 last cycle and it will probably end up even lower this time.
