Here's a question that's probably already been asked, but I couldn't find an answer. In January, I received a nice fee waiver via snail mail with a couple of different information packets. Is this Michigan's standard fee waiver practice? I'm imagining that it is, but I figured it's worth asking.

Current student here, a few of us are meeting prospectives that are already in town tonight at Ann Arbor Brewing Company at 9:30pm. PM if you're going to join.

I feel like there are several of us splitters who applied in January and later that they are just sitting on right now. Here's hoping they need all of us to keep their LSAT median!

Would bring down LSAT median so no, you get to sit at the OTHER loser table.

Yes. Mine even included a "handwritten" note congratulating me on my academic performance. Then I was promptly waitlisted.

Having the tournament start has helped ease my obsession with these damn applications. It's quite relieving.

Admitted last Thursday via status checker and haven't been home to check the snail mail. If I were to get scholly $ from Mich, how long after acceptance and via what method would I be notified?

scholarship arrives around two weeks after admission via "Mail and Money" on the admitted students website, although a couple people reported only getting it in the mail -- and congrats!

I thought it was great. Nice mix of social and academic stuff. The current students I spoke with were friendly and (seemingly) sincere, and the professors all seem like superstars. A lot of the students talked about how ASW sold them on the idea of Michigan, and I can see why.

Denied via Status Checker. Randomly decided to check ~4am.

Best of luck to everyone still waiting!

I really liked it. I was very concerned about the cold, but it really wasn't bad. Loved the campus and the professors rocked -- very impressed overall.

They'll need splitters eventually and since they rejected some of us already, they wont have a huge pool to choose from!
