Ummmm, so if I may ask, being a KJD and getting no question about my resume, does this imply that they think my internships and EC are too boring to bother to inquire? Did any KJD who had a similar experience got a JS2? Seems to me that JS1 always touched on the resume.

for the wave that just happened, based on LSN, the median LSAT was 175 and median GPA was 3.9
the lowest LSAT was 169 (4.04 GPA), and lowest GPA was 3.75 (176 LSAT)

Congrats all!!
Any update on the JS1 spots still available? The representation yesterday on TLS seemed small (2 reported?) given that there were 70+ spots open.

KJD JS2 here. My interviewer didn't mention my resume, but spent a lot of time on my personal statement. They ask questions about whatever they'd like to know more about, so I think it could be just as reasonable for an interviewer not to ask about a solid, self-explanatory resume as a "boring" one. It also stands to reason that JS & crew might focus a little less on resumes where KJD kiddos are concerned, since those applicants have had less opportunity to build up work experience.blueberrysmoothie wrote:Ummmm, so if I may ask, being a KJD and getting no question about my resume, does this imply that they think my internships and EC are too boring to bother to inquire? Incidentally, I didn't think my interview went very well, and then I got in less than three weeks later. Moral of the story: don't stress about the interview!

Also JS2 K-JD.
I had a strong internship related to my interests, and was asked by my interviewer if I had a received a full-time offer from where I had worked. Being able to say yes, and that I turned it down because my passion lies in law etc. etc. helped me separate myself (I think) from other K-JDs.

I'm not sure if this is the case now, but I just wanted to note that sometimes harvard seems to close off certain dates and then opens them up again later - just because we are not seeing any open slots on certain dates does not necessarily mean those are all taken!HorseThief wrote:I'm seeing 24 slots left, including some for this Thursday and the rest early next week.paragonloop wrote:Congrats all!!

Re: Harvard c/o 2018 Applicants (2014-2015 Cycle)
I'm also K-JD who received a JS2. My interviewer didn't touch my resume, instead focusing on what types of law interests I have.
For what it's worth, I thought my interview did not go well at all: it was super short, internet lost connection, etc. So I was shocked when JS told me on the phone that I did a great job on the interview.
So, as much as I stressed out before the interview, it really is not worth the blood pressure.

Since Harvard's median is 173, and from what is being written on TLS, accepted students are generally above 175, don't they have to start interviewing 171's and 172's and 173's at some point? Otherwise the median would be 175.

Yeah, and from what I can tell with my obsessive PMing every JS1 wave - they haven't started interviewing many people in the 25<lsat&gpa<50 range yet. I'm thinking they really just put everyone in order by last/gpa and are interviewing in that order. But I'm thinking it has to do with the pool this yeah bc they always say someone with my numbers should apply early because if they haven't seen a lot of applicants with my stats I have a better chance of getting in. I think with the reduced high scoring pool they wanted to wait until they had a clear picture of everyone under their medians before making decisions. Which is kind of a bummer...but oh well. They did not extend the deadline, correct? So that means that all apps should be in at this point?

all apps are in, i believe, but two exceptions to there already being a "final applicant pool," at this point in time:w0w wrote:fenwayfrank wrote:Since Harvard's median is 173, and from what is being written on TLS, accepted students are generally above 175, don't they have to start interviewing 171's and 172's and 173's at some point? 1. you can request an extension, and i know at least one person's was granted, so that your Feb LSAT counts, which means some ppl will have a new LSAT score up soon
2. if you applied anytime within the last two weeks or so your app probably isn't yet Complete, so they haven't seen it yet
so for the next couple weeks their applicant pool will still be developing.
