Hate to throw in an interjection in the midst of all this JS2 giddiness, but I'd like to report a JS1!

Thanks everyone! I'm just surprised JS didn't laugh my K-JD <25th GPA behind out the window.

They seem to be a little more splitter-friendly this cycle...neprep wrote:Thanks everyone! I'm just surprised JS didn't laugh my K-JD <25th GPA behind out the window.

I'm wondering if HLS, even in their insulated status, is still trying to capitalize on those higher LSATs a bit earlier in the game.lawschool22 wrote:They seem to be a little more splitter-friendly this cycle...neprep wrote:Thanks everyone! Which is basically what you've been predicting. I just hope they haven't filled all their low GPA spots.lawschool22 wrote:They seem to be a little more splitter-friendly this cycle...neprep wrote:Thanks everyone! I'm just surprised JS didn't laugh my K-JD <25th GPA behind out the window.

Re: Harvard, C/O 2017, Applicants Thread (2013-2014)
Honestly, I'd just like to interject that I just still can't wrap my head around the fact that a 3.8x is considered a *low* GPA at Harvard. It honestly kills me when I think back to college and I really thought I was doing so well. Leave it to Harvard to put me in my place.
Please Harvard, I promise I'll do so much better in law school

lol at people drawing conclusions about Harvard's admissions strategy based on a small sample of internet posters. Are we even sure there are JS2s today? I see 2 reported and the first one seemed like BS?
