Good lord I should just stop checking this thread.

+1 I'm between the median and 75% for LSAT and GPA, too. Very close to the 75% for GPA, especially with my grade update. At least my semester has started and I theoretically have a distraction.

Nope. Still UR as of 11/9.

*Edit: The status is unchanged, but under mailings there is now a line reading "Faculty Committee Notice 01/11/2010".

3.6 171 URM (black/pakistani)...thought I would be in by now...but i guess its better than a rejection

Got the email also. Not too excited about the chances. According to the interview about 200 get admitted out of 1500 that are sent to the committee... That's less than 15% chance...

It still remains UR as of the initial review date, but the heading now says:

For those of you that got the email, can you please list your UR date? I'm wondering if they're going in any sort of order, or if it's looking like a straight ding for me, which would depress me with me with my >75 LSAT and 75 GPA

I was under review 11/18 and I got the faculty email today. At first I didn't think it was necessarily a bad thing but after reading these posts I am worried

Not so sure about that...I'm below the 25th on both counts and did NOT receive the faculty e-mail. I'm guessing this means I'm an auto-reject, as suspected.

Above median GPA / 75% LSAT - got the same letter, maybe its cuz I applied relatively late. You'd think Bloat and I are a perfect match. Oh well, I'm not too worried.

Just got the email!! It was not a rejection, so I'm holding onto hope! (and to the fact that my application was not lost) I had been under review since 10/22

Do people get rejected without going to Faculty Review? If yes, then getting the email is somewhat good news. However, from LSN it doesn't seem like anyone has been rejected yet.

so i knew from the status checker this afternoon that i got in, but i couldn't figure out why i didn't get an email or a phone call. got pretty nervous by the end of the day.....so.....i just checked my SPAM folder, and lo and behold - my Berkeley acceptance email from this morning, and several status updates to other law schools. 8 emails altogether. damn gmail. but now I know for certain...I'M IN!!

And you just got dozens of people to check their junk email folders.

i can't imagine why that happened. it's weird. my first stanford update (incomplete app) came into my inbox, but my second update (complete) ended up in spam. I must have accidentally marked some law school email as spam, and now gmail thinks anything with "law school" in it is spam. but damn, i'll be checking my spam folder everyday now!
