It's true about Prop 13, though; we have not only the best public universities but the most dysfunctional political system in the nation. Life would be better if they stayed apart.

i had purely comedic goals in mind when i changed my name. now that my cycle is over, i'm not that worried about preserving my anonymity.

No, I just don't think Stanford and Berkeley are the end alls be alls. Every argument of yours has been a blanket one word statement with no support.

Also, your only argument for placing Stanford and Penn in the same category the other day was USNWR undergrad rankings. My counterargument discussed the irrelevancy of those rankings for undergrad, given some of the criteria used. I'd say your argument was way more simplistic and lacked more support than mine.

Before TABOR, our public universities were damn solid. CU, CSU, Mines, and even UCD for certain programs. Fort Lewis educates more AI students than almost any other school in the US, regardless of size.
