Its been fun everyone but I decided to kick GULC to the curb I withdrew this morning. GOod luck maybe someone will get my spot. If nothing changes it looks like LALA land for me. GULC just gave me loans for aid. I told them nicely what i thought about their aid process.

I'm confused. How much is the estimated costs and fees for Georgetown? I got my awards letter, and with grants + scholarships + loans = 66,000, but isn't Georgetown around 70k+?

Also, does Georgetown cut into aid if you're coming in with outside scholarships? I just got one, and I'm afraid they'll just cut all of my need-based aid.

what type/amount of outside scholarship did you get? just curious I'm trying to look into outside funding options now

just got my finaid email this morning.. still no merit only a pitifully small grant. sad. I'm going to wait to withdraw until I know that no merit is coming, though.

Not ungenerous, but less than both duke and northwestern. will think about it.

3rd or 4th completion update to 4/5 today, after the previous one on 4/3. At this point, I'm happy for a decision either way as long as it comes today.

Mine also updated again today. I don't know exactly how you all are counting them. It's my fourth if you include the initial complete date. I agree that it'd be nice just to receive a decision.

What do you mean by issues? I'm pretty sure that it doesn't go off complete; the date just changes.

No update so far. I will give them another 30 mins before I feel "are you kidding me?!" Guess more upset about no word than no merit scholarship...

Anyone know how long the turnaround is between acceptance and scholarship reception?

Did they update your country of citizenship?

The date on the letter is 3/28. And country of citizenship? How would I go about checking that? (Although there's really nothing to update...)

It would show up on the top left box when you log in to the status checker. According to this blog they fill it in as a precussor to getting in.

Ah, gotcha. I'm not sure if my Country of Citizenship box was updated or not (I never bothered looking at it before haha), but it says "USA." Am I safe to presume that it was blank before and now it's updated?

So I was waitlisted last Friday and put on the regular waitlist. Thinking about retaking the LSAT in June but not sure if it's worth it being that im not even on the preferred waitlist =/

Spoke with admissions.. people who applied by March 1st should have a decision around April 15th; everyone else, late April (although it could be longer).
