Question: Has any 1/17 or later admits gotten their NYU "pizza box" package yet? It's been over a month, and I only got an acceptance letter, but no admit package (I'm in Massachusetts, fwiw).

1/22 admit here. I received my pizza box about two weeks ago. (I'm located in Florida)

I'm still taking this as a good sign. Someone said on the last page that the rejection emails come immediately after the DLS update, it's been 5 hours since the update...

Thanks for the info! Yeah my mail is usually prompt. Did the box come with the acceptance letter (which was in a blue/purple-ish envelop) or did they arrive separately?

No problem! Nope they arrive separately. I got the purple envelope the Saturday after my acceptance I think and the pizza box the week after. Since it's over a month later, I would say you could call and inquire, but I probably would avoid saying anything like "I'm a part of an online community that obsessively analyzes every aspect of law school admissions and I heard that some people already received their pizza boxes...." But since you're on the East Coast, it seems like it definitely should've come by now.

NYU so far has been the slowest to tell me anything this cycle:

Complete by 10/4, and under review since 11/5/2012. Splitter so I imagine I'm on some sort of internal waitlist, but wow. I wonder if I'm at LOCI stage yet?

I have almost identical review dates as you and I mailed an LOCI yesterday. I am really hoping if it is a wait list pile that my letter pulls me out of it!

Yes, priority mailed with tracking actually. I have been reading a lot of interviews with admissions deans and one shared that a mailed LOCI was a nice touch.

Last week, my status also changed to DLS quite early in the day (probably AM), but could not login to ASW till evening. Also got a call on the next day. However, as I remember, people got rejected received an email sometime before 5PM, I guess. So if you did not get a ding e-mail yet, I guess you can relax and wait for good news.

That's comforting to hear, thanks! I guess I'll just keep trying again and again to log in to ASW until I accidentally break it for everyone.

Anyone having the problem where they can't log on and they can't reset password on NYU Status check?

I am thinking about scrapping my computer and going to live in the woods through march 25 and seeing if I get any snail mail because I assume that all technology is working against me.

edit: If anyone is curious my problem with NYU status checker is I try my password... no go so I try to reset my password... it asks for my username so I input it... then it asks to choose a question and has a blank text box with a button next to it that says get question. I have no idea what it expects me to type into this box but I am unhappy with my life because of it.
