Sorry if this has been discussed. I just got a second interview request email after I had my interview. No, it's not a request for a second interview, but a duplicate of the request I received a month ago. Emailed office assuming that an error had been made, but no response yet (sent Friday afternoon, so understandable).

Happen to anybody else?

I'm currently not quite sure what to do with myself. I just got an email acceptance from Cornell! :D I didn't go through an interview process and I was never on the waitlist! Somebody must have really love my application, because my numbers are below median.

Between your great GPA and your URM status, I'm not surprised they overlooked submedian lsat. Congrats!!!

Ya know, if the list of schools in your profile is exhaustive, I would recommend sending out another batch of apps to as many of the t-14 as possible. Also - I'm going out on a limb here - but if you happen to be Native American (I see your major is native american studies), I would recommend this even more, as I'm pretty sure native americans are among the most highly under-represented minorities. This, along with your great GPA could make for a lot more surprises like this one.

My .02... Good luck!

ETA: if you decide to do this, get on it right away, as deadlines are approaching!

Strange to think they'd accept me and not you. Cornell is one of three schools I'm waiting on. I just want an answer already.

Nooo, didn't mean that! Just that I'm skeptical that my recent movement will end in an acceptance, especially since you've had no updates. Good luck!

I FINALLY moved too! Maybe the Deferred have a shot! I was 12/19... Now 02/13 as well. I don't think I was ever 2/9 though. I'm pretty sure I checked on friday.

Hopefully we'll get some good news!

Same here. Just updated today, definitely didn't update on 2/9. I had completely written off Cornell...trying not to get my hopes up.

Thanks for the advice/ explanation. However, I'm not sure I can go through attempting to fill out any more applications. Geography due to family life and relationships is going to play a big factor in my decision, so I don't think I'm going to include any more schools.

if only... 3:42...

3:42 would solve all of the world's problems, including my LS admissions cycle and the untimely death of Whitney Houston.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
