Mine just changed to DLS. Too lazy to call though
. I guess I'll see whether it's a waitlist or rejection next week. I'm pretty happy though actually. Berkeley was my #1 choice and I feel like I would have been pressured to go to Stanford if I got in. I'm going to formally enroll at Cal next week
. My cycle's over.....other than still being held at Harvard.

Still standing, but I think that's because they haven't gotten to the URM pile yet. Really hoping that there is something to this doppelganger theory and that Dean Deal will be making some calls this week. Otherwise this is just sadistic.
If Dean Deal really wanted to turn Stanford admissions into a real-life Hunger Games, she could've at least given us a heads up.

DLS. I think I'll just wait till the letter gets here, though it enough people call, they might start thinking about posting the actual decision on the status checker to avoid the bother of answering.
Good luck everyone!

DLS'd. 10/21, non-URM. They're definitely at lunch but I'm going to call again a little later. I won't be riding the WL, just want to know whether I have to fill out any paperwork or not.
So glad to have my cycle officially over! HLS-bound!

The things is that they have gotten to the URMs (at least some of them)...they admitted some and then later denied and wait listed a few more....I still do not get why they decided to take a break when they could have just waitlisted/rejected us last week. They technically still have 5 hours today. Lets see if they get to us.

For those asking about "how" to call... seriously just call and ask what the decision on your application is in a polite way. They were really friendly about it when I called.

Yep, it seems DLS's today are dings. It seems they are not able to offer me a seat in the class.Elendil wrote:For those asking about "how" to call... seriously just call and ask what the decision on your application is in a polite way. They were really friendly about it when I called.

Re: Stanford c/o 2015 Applicants (2011-2012 cycle)
Is it just me or are there very few January completes (such as myself) with DLSes? It seems almost everyone who has recently reported one has a 2011 complete date. I think they DO seem to be going through the rest of the pile in a general order of complete date. So now I'm wondering exactly how long I'm going to have to wait to get my ding...
