talked to a really nice woman at the finaid office. apparently the office closed early on friday afternoon because of an emergency and opened late on monday because of a blizzard.

Just spent a weekend at Lake Tahoe, it was snowing when we left for the coast. I found snow and 30 degrees much more tolerable than rain and 60 degrees for some reason.

I have not really been following the Cornell process too closely, but is there a know reason that they seem to be going through applications particularly slowly this year?
