I'm just hoping to get through tomorrow unscathed. Here's to another weekend of anxiety and uneasy sleep!

Ugh, tomorrow is my ding.

Seriously, weren't last weeks dings all people who went UR 12/1 through like 12/10? As an UR 12/15 person I know that tomorrow is it for me.

Is there any general consensus as to which days of the week (consistently) we have been seeing JR1 emails and dings? Seems like we should have enough data at this point, but I don't see any totals ITT...

Nope, though there is a consensus on which days of the week (consistently) I do not get a JR1 e-mail and they are as follows:

Monday
Tuesday
Wednesday
Thursday
Friday
Saturday
Sunday.

Just got done with the JR1. Took about 3 minutes. He seemed as though he was in a rush. He asked why I want to go to law school, why Harvard, and if I had questions. Seemed like just going through the motions, but I liked my answers. I'm sure he is sick of these phone calls.

All I can gather is that Fridays = dings and Mondays = JR2s. Therefore, Friday is currently my least favorite day of the week while Monday is by far the favorite. :P I don't think there's any specific pattern to the JR1s.

Mine lasted about 8 minutes- I think it went well, but I guess we won't know until I do or don't get a JR2...
Hope we both get in :D

umm- I guess maybe I talked too much? I did ask him 2 questions though which he probably took about a minute to answer for each so maybe I was only talking for about 6 minutes? It did feel like it was over fast though so in that sense it did feel short even though my phone counter said 8 minutes lol

This process has not been good for my health, I just think everyone should get a JR1 who hasn't yet and everyone who has gotten a JR1 should get a JR2! I mean who really cares if there are over a thousand students in one class?!

hahaha seriously though best of luck to everyone, and here's hoping for a JR2 :D

JUST finished my JR1. It lasted a little over 6 minutes. I probably talked too fast, but I think it went pretty well overall. No surprises. He's a really nice guy. When I asked him when I'd hear back, he said it depended on how quickly I went through comittee, but definitely by April 15...which I hope doesn't mean waitlist!

Hi guys -- I'm nw to the Harvard thread. This may sound like a crazy question, but what is a JR1? JR2?

Are they just interviews? :) Thanks!
