Since I went complete early December and have yet to hear anything, I'm thinking that I'm just waiting for a snail mail ding.. right? I'm at the point where I just want to know, and looking at LSN it seems that if I were to be accepted/WL'd, it would have already happened?

I've spent 6 months speculating and have gotten nowhere. I know it's hard, but my advice is to just let it go and stop speculating.sorence wrote:Since I went complete early December and have yet to hear anything, I'm thinking that I'm just waiting for a snail mail ding.. right? No, I don't think they're expected before a decision at all. I also applied in October lollillawyer2 wrote:Keilz wrote:LOL no I didn't. I try to stay away from their offices with a ten foot pole. Similar boat. Interview in late January and nothing since. With all the reserves being sent out I was starting to think I was the only one like this.lauren22 wrote:Been complete for months, had my interview in Dec., haven't been placed on hold or reserve - what doing, Columbia???

When I was interviewed in late Feb, I was told by the interviewer that the interview is not a required procedure to get admitted. My lsat is above 75% and gpa evaluated as S (because i am an international applicant). But I still have not received a decision so far.RPlatt85 wrote:Applied in January. Around both medians. Do we know when Columbia usually decides on the Held portion? The letter specified a date when they would respond at the latest, but having only three days to decide on which law school I'm attending seems imprudent and a bit unlawyerish.
Maybe they're trying to train us in quick thinking. Who knows?

Re: Columbia c/o 2020 applicants (2016-2017)
I think someone had noted that in previous years, people on the Hold list were notified if they were admitted during the first and second week of April, and everyone else (reserves and dings) were notified on or right before April 26th. But seeing as none of us have reported hearing yet, I don't know if that timeline holds...McMooch wrote:Do we know when Columbia usually decides on the Held portion? Re: Columbia c/o 2020 applicants (2016-2017)
yeah, I don't remember the accepted holds but I'm pretty sure TLS had reported them before now, bc this year I was braced from march 27 on. it seems like the timeline is different this year. I was reserved 4/20 last year but people had definitely reported acceptances before thatsittykitty wrote:I think someone had noted that in previous years, people on the Hold list were notified if they were admitted during the first and second week of April, and everyone else (reserves and dings) were notified on or right before April 26th.
