Gotta lighten up dude, if you can't enjoy a thread on the internet of folks passing time waiting for a law school decision, you're gonna have a brutal time in LS let alone big law after that.
i meant it lightheartedly!

I'm not sure what qualifies as "presumptive admit" numbers but MyLSN gives me a really good shot, and I haven't got a js1 yet
ETA: 80-90% on MyLSN depending on whether I put my stats near the bottom, middle, or top of the range

What would you consider to be "presumptive admit" numbers, in terms of a % on mylsn? I just searched up my numbers and got between 80 and 90%, depending on how many cycles I go back. I'm K-JD waiting for JS2; JS1 mid-Dec.

Echoing my complete date twin, I'm K-JD and myLSN gives me around 89% chance and it's been radio silence

Yup. We'll have to try again tomorrow. And likely the next few business days after, as well.

Same % on mylsn and KJD, but complete in November, JS1 December, JS2 January.

I am most definitely
NOT a presumptive admit (so please don't strike me down for hubris HLS adcomms) however My LSN gives me an 80% chance at acceptance and I'm not K-JD. JS1 in December, waiting on JS2

Okay, do we think we'll get a wave before the long weekend? or should I just give up now and come back in march?

I checked the spreadsheet, filtering for those of us who got a JS1 in 2015.
- Of those who are above both medians or have at least one score above the 75th and the other above 25th [i.e., presumptive] and are waiting on a JS2, the average WE is 1.5.
- For everyone else waiting, the average WE is 1.9
- For those who got in, the average WE is 1.6
There are a lot more KJDs in group A than in the other groups.

This is the point where I'd say something along the lines of: past years' data indicate
this but there is some evidence for
that as well. So... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
But I've been disappointed so many days over the past few weeks that I'm going to skip a step and just say, ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

That's what I figured.
How long is Li'l Sebastian in purgatory?

I almost don't want Harvard to release JS2s tomorrow or Friday because we will miss out on Li'l Seb going crazy when the wave starts.
(I'm kidding adcomms I would be very appreciative of a wave tomorrow or Friday)

There was a big wave of rejections last year on 2/11. Maybe they'll do a big JS2 wave this year instead since there hasn't been one in awhile. Or perhaps knock them both out in one day?

Would it be safe to say that the AdComms were pretty much in line with last year's timeline in terms of JS1 and JS2 notifications until they decided to not release anything during that 2/2-2/5 wave we were all hoping for?
ETA: could someone please share the number of people in the HLS 2019 Facebook group?

Reporting a late JS1 (from Monday).
I was abroad and had no access to my email so only saw it last night. Went complete in mid January. Hopefully more good news on the way
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
