Two questions, if anyone knows the answers:
1.)when did the first big waves of rejections start coming last year?
2.) how does the waitlist work? Do you need to have a JS1 to get on the waitlist? Or can you be added to the waitlist without a JS1 and then get called up to interview later?

I know a lot of people get interviewed off the waitlist.

Congratulations! But that's strange... I submitted 1/2 and went complete 1/12... Was there something that delayed your application?Philafaler wrote:I submitted 12/26, complete 1/23, 176ish/4.1ishmujiali wrote:Mind sharing when you submitted and went complete?Philafaler wrote:JS1 invite this afternoon!
I've been looking through the thread for the JS1 questions, but can't seem to find a good list. Is there a compilation of the sorts of questions anywhere?

JS1 batch of 10/27, interview Nov 5. Three months of slowly ebbing hope...and then, at the glorious hour of 3:30 EST, the waters parted to reveal the much heralded CAMBRIDGE, MA upon the cellular screen. Much rejoicing was had, and celebratory screaming whilst riding in the chariot home from work.
No idea why I was held for so long, but I don't mind now. LSAT above 75, GPA around median.

yes please! as a reverse-splitter also, that would be greatly appreciated.tonysoprano wrote:Thoughts on changing the poll to include which median a person is above for JS2 recipients, at least? It seems like almost all JS2's are at/above LSAT median (which isn't too relieving for semi reverse-splitters like myself, but it's still good info to have).

My JS2 call came in around 1pm PST today!
GPA >75th and LSAT between 25 and 50%, so for those with lower LSATs out there-- don't despair. JS1 was early Dec. Feel free to PM if you want more deets.
Congrats everyone!

the poll can only have ten options. I'm open to suggestions on how to do this if most people agreeblueberrybagel wrote:yes please! as a reverse-splitter also, that would be greatly appreciated.tonysoprano wrote:Thoughts on changing the poll to include which median a person is above for JS2 recipients, at least? Not late this year. Last year some JS2s went out in the evening, but this year they are finished by the late afternoon so farRedColossus wrote:How late into the evening have JS2s gone until in the past two waves?

I'm slightly below LSAT median and got my JS2 today-- so don't worry too much! Feel free to send me a PM if you want details.xylocarp wrote:the poll can only have ten options.
