My second complete day was monday, is the consensus that the decision follows the third complete date?neveragain224 wrote:Spykuh wrote:second complete date today! 12/3-->12/15

Still 11/22 too...boo.snapdragon wrote:If I had to guess (because clearly I'm psychic and can channel the mind of adcoms) I'd say that the 11/22s are being held for a while to see how the class shapes up. I'm PT and extremely borderline so maybe they're just keeping me around until they say what their PT apps look like this year.
In reality, I predict that I will be rejected on February 6, 2011. Hopefully not a moment sooner

Still at 12/3 and no update. Positive thinking is on the decline

I'm also 11/22 still. Could it be that the applicants in the 11/22 group are the ones who got sent to committee review?

Re: GULC Waiting Thread
I may just be going a little nuts but I'd like any input I can get... The admissions office is confusing the hell out of me at this point.
My app was complete 10/28. I was invited for an interview mid-November, had my interview November 27th which went really well! My date changed on the status tracker 12/3, 12/9, and 12/14 (tues). They emailed one (of five) of my recommenders saying thank you - we depend on recommendations like yours for applicants like this - but without a specific "congratulations" line. I cannot sign on to the admitted students website.
Stats are 173 / 3.1 -- 4 years out of school. From DC and wrote a strong "why gtown" statement. Not ED. Not URM.
Is there any information in any of that?
Maggie

sigh, count in the 11/22 group as well. Whatever, screw you Georgetown. I love the undergrad, GULC can go eff itself though. I am going to a much better school anyway (nope, not bitter at all).jamiLAW wrote:I'm also 11/22 still. I got in 2 weeks ago - first one I heard from, so I was very excited to hear good news from them so soon! 170/3.67 for those who are trying to gauge where they stand.

Right around Nov. 1...I did a group interview, though, which I think helped a lot in terms of showing interest.Redsgomarchingon wrote:when did you submit?smscat wrote:I got in 2 weeks ago - first one I heard from, so I was very excited to hear good news from them so soon! 170/3.67 for those who are trying to gauge where they stand.

Lol it was set up through my university - I did it kind of spur of the moment just because it seemed like a good idea on the advice of the pre-law counselors - it was overwhelming and I was out of my element, but the Dean was very, very nice, and now I'm glad I did it since it's the first one I heard from and is a great school that I could definitely see myself attending.
