I got an email, and a few days later, the status checker was updated to show the form received.

I think you should wait until March to contact them. Duke indicated that they would let everyone who submitted an application know by the end of February, so if you don't hear by March, ask. It's only 5 more days of waiting.

I would respond to the email you received acknowleding that they received it with your question as to whether or not they've processed those they received in November. This may actually play to your advantage as they will have some actual contact from you that they haven't from others.

So I got in, but was told that my acceptance wasn't "official" until I completed the merit aid application soon to arrive at my doorstep. Is this another ploy by Duke to game the rankings?

Who all should hear by the end of February? My scholarship form wasn't even received until 2/18, so I'm assuming that doesn't apply to me.

Yeah, at this point I wouldn't even care if it was a WL or rejection because I have already gotten into other schools I preferred to Duke in the first place. I just think it's strange that they're waiting so long to do it, and I also want to cross a school off my list.

My UR date changed today from UR 11/16, to UR 2/23. Hoping last year's waitlist turns into this year's acceptance.

Anyone have an idea of how long before I get a decision--or does a changed UR date not really mean much?
