JS1 1/30, complete 11/30. >75th LSAT, <25th GPA, 2 year WE, Ivy undergrad, F non-URM

Anybody admitted today interview with Romina? I'm wondering if it's just individual admissions staff calling people they interviewed.

I actually have no idea the name of my interviewer. Very nice, younger lady with glasses (she also mentioned she worked abroad, maybe in the foreign service?). Was that Romina?

Don't remember on the glasses, and the foreign service doesn't ring a bell, but I remember she was from the west-coast and a very recent HLS grad.

Anyone have data on timing of JS1 and likelihood of JS2 (e.g. later JS1 = less likelihood of JS2)? Asking for a friend...

I think people in last year's thread said they couldn't really find any correlation

I'm not sure how likely this is; if I've learned anything from this cycle, it's that last cycle doesn't indicate how this one will play out. I'm hopeful, of course, but not optimistic. There's always March though!

tls scholarship is the best form of scholarship. There are so few data points on timing that I don't think we can really predict anything. Based off of past cycle(s) we would have expected there to be two waves in january, but there was only 1. I'm bracing for the long haul (already waited ~6 months).

My interviewer was a white female. I think she was blond. She appeared short and had a normal build. I don't know her name . I was too distracted and missed it. The front page should have head shots of the admissions staff.

Just to give you all some context, I got a JS2 today and applied 10/12, with a JS1 some time at the end of November. LSAT > 50, GPA > 75

Most of the JS2s today interviewed before late January. Applications go on to faculty review after the interview, so if you interviewed in mid to late Jan or later there's really no reason to be worried right now.

Yeah that makes sense. Faculty can be really difficult to get to do things so it would probable be good luck bordering on a miracle to get past it quickly. Of course, this is all conjecture but you all know how professors are!
