Belated post - JS2 this morning at 11 a.m.! In via voicemail, I missed the call...derp.
JS1 1/30, complete 11/30. >75th LSAT, <25th GPA, 2 year WE, Ivy undergrad, F non-URM
Still freaking out!

Don't remember on the glasses, and the foreign service doesn't ring a bell, but I remember she was from the west-coast and a very recent HLS grad.

I think people in last year's thread said they couldn't really find any correlationCHyde wrote:Anyone have data on timing of JS1 and likelihood of JS2 (e.g. later JS1 = less likelihood of JS2)? Asking for a friend...

I'm not sure how likely this is; if I've learned anything from this cycle, it's that last cycle doesn't indicate how this one will play out. I'm hopeful, of course, but not optimistic. There's always March though!addie1412 wrote: evidence does point to another wave tomorrow!

Re: Harvard Law c/o 2020 Applicants (2016-2017)
tls scholarship is the best form of scholarship. There are so few data points on timing that I don't think we can really predict anything. Based off of past cycle(s) we would have expected there to be two waves in january, but there was only 1. I'm bracing for the long haul (already waited ~6 months).addie1412 wrote:evidence does point to another wave tomorrow!texteach wrote:I was 1/23 & it was radio silence for me today - at least we're in this together hahaaddie1412 wrote:Yep, 1/25!texteach wrote:Right? hahaaddie1412 wrote:If 2/10 JS1s are emotionally drained and defeated, I may as well pack it in and withdraw now lmao

So maybe tomorrow they'll give us a JS1 wave instead just to throw us off their tracks...or maybe that's just me selfishly hoping. My interviewer was a white female. I think she was blond. She appeared short and had a normal build. I don't know her namesphyrnidae13 wrote:I actually have no idea the name of my interviewer. JS2 this morning from Tom Robinson! Anyone know if they follow up the call with an e-mail or how to access admitted students page?

Just to give you all some context, I got a JS2 today and applied 10/12, with a JS1 some time at the end of November. LSAT > 50, GPA > 75

What if you interviewed early Jan?potterotter wrote:Most of the JS2s today interviewed before late January. Applications go on to faculty review after the interview, so if you interviewed in mid to late Jan or later there's really no reason to be worried right now.

Yeah that makes sense. Faculty can be really difficult to get to do things so it would probable be good luck bordering on a miracle to get past it quickly. Of course, this is all conjecture but you all know how professors are!potterotter wrote:Most of the JS2s today interviewed before late January. Yup this is Romina. Also waiting to see if anyone who interviewed with her has been admitted.hellohalo wrote:Yea she went to Italy I thinksphyrnidae13 wrote:I actually have no idea the name of my interviewer.
